This award is open to kitchen team members, domestic team members, caretakers, front of house managers, lifestyle managers/activities coordinators and support office team members.

This award is for the support star in the home or support office who stands out as someone who our homes just couldn’t function without, and who always has a friendly, welcoming smile ready.  They are helpful to newbies, and nothing is too much trouble.  Whether it be whipping up our residents’ favourite foods, making sure the home is sparkling clean or they’re just a phone call away to offer advice, their support and positivity keep everything running smoothly. They offer encouragement regularly; they are always there for you.

This award is open to all members of Team Ideal.

This person fosters a culture that actively encourages simple kindness. Their commitment to kind care means they are able to create bonds, cultivate friendships and build positive relationships in the home, bringing joy to the ordinary moments in each day and enriching the lives of our residents.

This award is open to all residents in Ideal Carehomes.

This award is for the one resident who stands out as being integral to the home – part of the home’s DNA. They offer support to staff and residents alike, welcoming new members of the family and helping them to settle in. They take a lead with big decisions, whilst encouraging other residents to be involved in creating a resident-led culture.

This award is open to all members of Team Ideal.

This award is for a member of the team who has worked with Ideal Carehomes for over five years and consistently works beyond the call of duty, taking incredible steps in making sure residents are living their best lives. There might be something they have done which has made you stop and think ‘well that was pretty amazing’ and that they really deserve to be recognised for this. 

This award is open to all colleagues in a leadership role.

This award recognises a colleague who has shown exceptional leadership and vision in developing a person-centred environment for their residents, whilst always supporting and encouraging their staff team to develop within their roles. 

They will make a positive impact on everything in their home each day, be approachable and lead from the front to take their home to another level for staff and residents.

This leader will be a reassuring ear for staff, residents and families alike and their inspirational leadership will positively steer the home and the team.

This award is open to all homes.

This award is for the home that simply stands out as being one team with one shared goal – person-centred, kind care.  They make the experience of living in their home the very best for their residents and it is a great place to work for their team. This home will have high colleague retention and engagement, good or outstanding outcomes with our regulators and will be a home where our residents live their best lives.
