Ideal Carehomes awards celebrate dedicated staff
Staff from Ideal Carehomes are celebrating after being recognised for their hard work and dedication at the groups’ first ever award ceremony
The Ideal Carehomes Awards were launched earlier this year to celebrate the amazing care staff who strive every day to make their 19 homes great places for residents to live. After a callout for nominations, the group received over 700 entries across 13 categories, ranging from Housekeeping Hero and Newcomer to Resident Outstanding Contribution, Home Manager and Home of the Year.
A judging day determined the 57 finalists, who went head to head at the awards glitzy gala dinner on 21st November where guests enjoyed a three-course meal, celebratory party and overnight stay. 13 winners were crowned on the night.
Stacey Linn, Ideal Carehomes Director, said: “We are incredibly proud of all our homes and the amazing staff who work so hard to give our residents the best quality of life, and we just wanted to say ‘thank you’ and ensure that they get the recognition that they deserve. Our motto for the awards was ‘not all heroes wear capes’ and that is certainly true of the Ideal Carehomes family.
“We had a difficult job narrowing down the finalists as every single one has excelled in their role but we really felt that the winning 13 were extremely deserving of the highest praise. Congratulations to all our 2019 winners and we are sure that the Ideal Carehomes Awards will make a comeback next year!”
